Paid courses are processed through third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). Prices, taxes, and currency are shown at checkout.
Unless otherwise stated on the checkout or course page:
- Payments are final.
- Refunds are not guaranteed.
- AcademIA may offer refunds at its discretion in cases like duplicate charges or technical access failures.
7. Subscription or One-Time Purchases
If subscription plans are offered, billing terms (cycle, renewal, cancellation) will be shown before purchase. You are responsible for managing active subscriptions through the provided billing tools.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
- Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the Platform.
- Misrepresent identity, role, or affiliation.
- Use automated scraping or bots without written permission.
9. Progress, Certificates, and Outcomes
AcademIA may track course progress, quiz results, and completion status to provide learning features. Certificates (if available) confirm completion on the Platform only and do not guarantee employment, academic credit, or professional licensing outcomes.
10. Intellectual Property
All Platform content, including text, videos, lessons, quizzes, logos, and software, is owned by AcademIA or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
"AcademIA" name, branding, and associated marks may not be used without permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data.

16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AcademIA is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the Platform.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold AcademIA harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located in Dubai, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated versions become effective when posted with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
